Challenge

Delta Air Lines wanted to increase the attractiveness of its operations for Latin American travelers, driving expansion through engagement in the region. To do so it had identified the need to create more opportunities to collect Delta SkyMiles – and turned to Loylogic for support.

 

Solution

To meet the challenge, Loylogic built a new multi-country, multi-language online shopping portal giving SkyMiles members across Canada, Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean the opportunity to earn additional SkyMiles for their online purchases. This included dealing with the complexities surrounding product fulfilment, languages, and the need for local currency checkout, all of which are paramount in achieving local appeal and a seamless customer experience.

Through the new multi-country, multi-language online shopping portal, SkyMiles members across 26 countries, including Canada, Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean were given the opportunity to earn additional SkyMiles for their online purchases. This enhanced the loyalty currency and delivered new and exciting benefits to non-US members.
